Denmark, Oct. 5 - Mrs. Bettie Bronson Fogle, 78, died at her home here at 9 o'clock this morning after a brief illness. She had not been well for several days, but her death came as a shock to her family.
Mrs. Fogle was born in Orangeburg county, but had lived the greater part of her life in Denmark. She was the widow of the late George Fogle. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. N. F. Hoyt, with whom she made her home; Mrs. L. T. Shanklin of Charlotte, N. C., and Mrs. C. B. Sutton of Miami, Fla.; two sons, J. B. Fogle of Suffern, N. Y. and Reginald Fogle of Orangeburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Hoyt with the Rev. R. R. Tucker in charge. Interment will be in the Denmark cemetery.
