Stella Kwasny -- March 25, 1910-Jan. 19, 1994 -- MISHAWAKA - Stella Kwasny, 83, of le Boulevard de la Paix, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Miss Kwasny retired in 1975, after 47 years of service from Uniroyal Plastics Co. She was born March 25, 1910, in Scarboro, W. Va., and lived in Mishawaka most of her life. She is survived by three sisters, Anne Kwasny, Emily Kwasny and Elizabeth Gillen, all of Mishawaka; and three brothers, Harry of Las Vegas, Nev., Charles of Mishawaka and Andrew of Kerrville, Texas. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, Association of St. Joseph, Polish National Alliance, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, Harvest House of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend, Theresians, and Uniroyal Ladies Club, and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church Adult Choir.
