Warren S. 'Bud' May passed away on December 5, 2003 after a long illness. Bud was born March 27, 1917 to Drew and Eula May in Purcell, OK. At an early age he moved with his family to Guthrie, OK where he was raised. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corp., serving in WWII and the Korean War as a bombadier and navigator. Bud is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret, his son Patrick May of Fort Worth, TX and his daughter Kathy Kempf, her husband Fred, and his thee grandchildren Parker, Whitney, and Martin Kempf of Oklahoma City, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 sons Stephen and Michael May. Bud was a friend of Bill W. for 37 years. He was a long standing active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, OK where a Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either RAIN Oklahoma, 1601 N. Drexel Blvd., OKC, OK 73107, or Alzheimer's Assn., 1 N. Hudson, OKC, OK 73102. MERCER-ADAMS
