Oscar E. Shepard, 77, life resident of this community, died Thursday at a Marion nursing home after an ill- ness of several months.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Furness. Marion; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Miller, Grant County: Mrs. Ada Miller, Indianapolis. and Mrs. Delight Catt, Anderson: one grandchild and great-grandchild.
Last rites were held on Saturday at 814 S. Adams St., with Rev. Milo Bowsman in charge. Burial was made in Grant Memorial Park.
