Mrs. Marie D. Freeze Dies After Illness Of Over 6 Weeks
Mrs. Marie Dixon Freeze, 58, widow of George D. Freeze, active Church worker for many years, died Monday at the home of her brother, Bines Dixon, 1047 Yale avenue. She had been ill six weeks.
Mrs. Freeze was a native of Salt Lake, and was the daughter of Bines and Mary Sellers Dixon. For many years she was a resident of Forest Dale ward, being an energetic worker in the Relief Society and Religion class.
Surviving are two sons, Wallace G. and John D. Freeze, a daughter, Mrs. Elsie W. Barker, four brothers, B. W., Joseph S., George A. and James M. Dixon, and a sister, Mrs. R. E. Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 12:15 p.m. in the Eleventh ward chapel, 131 Tenth East street. The body may be viewed at the home of her sister, Mrs. R. E. Miller, 954 Eleventh East, Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 o'clock.
