Barber was born Dec. 30, 1902 at Charles City, Iowa and had lived most of his life in Beatrice. He had been employed as a carpenter and roofer prior to retiring 15 years ago.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald J. and Kenneth, both of Fairbury, and James of Lincoln; four daughters, Mrs. Bill (Wauneta) Brown of Fairbury, Mrs, Lee (Etta) Crain of Lincoln, Mrs. John (Carol) Wenzl of Denton, and Mrs. Richard (Darlene)
Walters of Beatrice; one brother Glen of Beatrice; four sisters, Mrs. Francis (Evelyn) Blaker, Mrs, Donald (Alta) Jones, and Mrs. Bill (Marie) Eden, all of Beatrice, and Mrs. Louis (Millie) Wanek of DeWitt; 80 grandchildren and is great-
grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by one son, two brothers, one sister, and one
grandchild. Funeral arrangements are pending with Harman Mortuary.
