Obituary

Dr. Cyrus B. Stewart, 88, died at the residence of his son, Dr. George B. Stewart, Raleigh Road, Monday afternoon, December 6, 1920 at 1 o'clock. He also leaves a son, Dr. Walter Stewart.

Funeral will take place at the residence followed by interment at Arlington, TN.

Additional information from his great granddaughter;

Dr.Cyrus Stewart had another son, Dr.George Brooks Stewart b.1871 d.1931. He is buried at Forest Hill cemetery in Memphis Tennessee.
I can't find his grave on your site. If I ever get to Memphis again I will try to track down his grave. Dr. George B. Stewart founded the Shelby County Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He was my great grandfather. His brother, Walter was also a Doctor and is listed ,but for some reason,George was left out.
Dr.Cyrus Stewart was living with his son, George at the time of his death. (See line 14 of his deaths certificate)
