James S. Waller
James Samuel Waller, 74, of 1557 Broad St., died Sunday after an illness of four months.
He was a lifelong resident of Augusta.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 P.M. Tuesday at the Second Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Glenn Atley.
Interment will be in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Cooper Waller; a son, Willie Jennings Waller of Augusta, three daughters, Mrs. W. R. Story, Mrs. Gladys Parrish and Mrs. Cecil L. Dempsey of Augusta, four brothers, W. W. Waller and M. C. Waller of Augusta, J. T. Waller of Roanoke Rapids, N. C. and Lonnie WaIler of North Augusta; two sisters Mrs. Mary Lou Sidener of Augusta, and Mrs. Essie Atkinson of Aiken, two step-sons, D. W. Cooper and A. L. Cooper of Augusta; three stepdaughters., Mrs. J. T. Jeffords of Florence, S. C. and Mrs. Elizabeth Kirby and Mrs. Harold Bateman of Augusta, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
