Mr. Amos

Fred W. Amos, 49, Scottsboro, died Wednesday in Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services were to be today at 2 p m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Scottsboro, with the Rev. Don Cooper officiating. Burial in Pine Haven Cemetery. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Nell Amos; parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Amos, Albertville; son, Chris Amos; daughters, Mrs. Phyliss Higginbotham, Pam and Kim Amos, all of Scottsboro; brother, Philip Amos, Decatur; sisters, Mrs. J.T. Kelley and Mrs. R. D. Smith, both of Atlanta, Mrs. S.B. Pinkston, Albertville. Mr. Amos was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was employed by Hubb Chevrolet of Collinsville. Word-Bradford Funeral Home, Scottsboro, directing.
