Horace J. Beignger, 67, 4348 Regan Road, was stricken while being driven to a doctor's office Thursday afternoon and was pronounced dead, on arrival at Mercy Hospital
Coroner John F. Karpus said the man, who had been treated at Saginaw Veterans Hospital for a heart attack.
Belanger was born in Kawkawlin Jan, 14, 1897 and was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a marine engineer on
the Great Lakes before retirement.
BELANGER was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War I. His wife died in 1959.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Yula Leona Dahl of Bay City; a sister, Mrs. Yula Kaiser of Bay City; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services are being arranged by the Squires Funeral Home. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday.
