The Paducah Sun, 20 Nov 1991: Arlington, KY - Clinton Bright died at 7:55 a.m. Monday (18 Nov 1991) in a traffic accident on U.S. 51 north of Arlington. Mr. Bright was a retired electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 816 in Paducah and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church, the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

His parents were T.C. and Ethel Cash Bright.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred Jackson Bright; a son, Phillip Joe Bright Sr., of Arlington; two sisters, Mary Sue Allen of Arlington and Mildred Ann Hogancamp of Bardwell; one brother, James Edward Bright of Fulton; six granchildren and seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
