Mr. Clarence H. Sanders was born on May 9, 1912 in New Hebron, MS and had just celebrated his 100th birthday last year. He was the son of Sim Sanders and Flora Deavers Sanders. He was in the US Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was the Owner/Operator of Sanders Pure Oil for thirty two years. He was a former member of the Lions Club and a current member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Ellen Robertson Sanders of Silver Creek, MS; his daughter, Jo Ann Hartzog of Silver Creek, MS; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.
