Mrs. Blanche M. Hardesty, 72, died at 12:15 Thursday at her residence at 14 West Oak Drive.
She was a retired employee of the G.C. Murphy Company in Rockville and had worked for them more than 20 years.
She was member of the Judson Chapter 382 Order of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Church along with the County Women's Club.
She was born in Parke County, Sept. 9, 1902, the daughter of Elmer and Bertha Cofer, Rightsell.

She was married May 1, 1920 to Paul Hardesty and he survives.
Both formerly owned and operated the Hardesty Implement Co. at Bellmore before retiring.
Also surviving are grand-daughter Mrs. Deloris Sparks, Rockville, and two great grandsons.
Two sisters Mrs. Mayme Thompson, Mishawaka and Mrs. Lula Guess, Terre Haute also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Herman Hardesty, who died in 1963.
Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Butler Funeral Home, Rockville, with the Rev. Albert Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery and friends may call after 10 a.m. Sunday.
