Sister of Caledonia Man Dies in Waukon

Caledonia, Minn. -- (Special to The Republican-Herald) --

Funeral services were held at Waukon, Iowa, Thursday for Mrs. Charles Schwartzhoff, sister of James E. Danaher, Caledonia. She died in Waukon Dec. 24 at the age of 57. Mrs. Schwartzhoff is survived by her husband, six children; Mrs. Ed. Viola, Chicago, and Gertrude, Francis, Clarence, Emmett and Gerald at home; by three brothers, Mr. Danaher, Caledonia, Joseph, Waukon, Iowa, and Patrick, Detroit, and by four sisters, Mrs. M. Ryan, Dorchester, Iowa, Mrs. Herman Schwartzhoff and Mrs. Martin Deney, Waukon, and Sister Clemacus of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Services were held at the home Thursday morning in Dorchester, and burial was in the church cemetery. Relatives from Caledonia attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schwartzhoff and daughers, Mrs. O. N. Ernster, August Schulte and Joseph and William Roerkohl.
