The Weston Democrat, Fri. 14 July 1911:
"BRADY, JOHN A. Resident of Bealls Mills, died at his home Saturday, July 1st, aged about 67. Survived by wife, five children, three brothers and two sisters. Among the brothers are C. D. Brady of this city, and J. M. Brady of Gassaway. Funeral at the Sand Fork Chapel with burial in the Montgomery graveyard on Sand Fork."
