Mrs Wilma Glenadine Downham, 802 S 25th St., died at 8 am Tuesday in St Joseph's Hospital after an illness of five weeks.
She was born in Mishawaka, Feb 8, 1903, and had been a lifetime resident of this area.
She was married in South Bend in 1938 to Clarence E Downham, who survives.
Other survivors are her mother, Mrs Cora L Hirsch; three sons, Kenneth E, Robert and Lyndon Swarm, and a daughter, Mrs Wanda Yeagley, all of South Bend; four step-daughters Mrs Freida Humes, and Mrs Lois Newland, both of Osceola; Mrs Marguerite Yaste and Mrs Shirley DeBow, both of South Bend; two stepsons, Harold Downham San Jose, Calif., and Wayne Downham, Frankfort, Ind; 21 grand children; one great-grandchild; brother, Virgil Hirsch, Long Beach, Calif, and a sister, Mrs Virginia Riegle, Gardenia, Calif.
