Rites At Cheyenne


Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Eakins who died Saturday in the Cheyenne Hospital following a lenghthy(sic) illness, were held Monday afternoon, March 4, 2:30 p.m., in the Cheyenne Church of Christ.

Burial was in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon.

Casketbearers were Harlan Thomas, R. H. Dodson, John Chapman, Add Moxley, L. L. Males and Jimmy Bradshaw.

Born October 29, 1896 in Wynnewood, Okla., she was married on November 10, 1916 to Eli Bogges at Cheyenne. She moved to the Sandstone community in 1901, and later moved to Cheyenne. Following the death of her husband , she was married to George Eakins.

Mrs. Eakins was a member of the Church of Church.(sic)

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. J. K. Boulware, Dallas, Texas; two sons, Alfred and Orville Bogges, Cheyenne;(sic) 11 grandchildren, and one great grand child.

Services were at the Church of Christ in Cheyenne, and burial was in Red Hill cemetery Monday, March 4. Her two sons, O. L. Bogges and Alfred Bogges, and their families still reside in our community. Their mother had moved to Cheyenne. Our sympathy goes to the bereaved. Her daughter is Mrs. Johnny Boulware, (nee Nila Bogges) Dallas, Texas. She was here for the services.
