Found in The State 06 July 1990: Mrs. Esther Aiken Jones, 81, of 1018 Marion St., widow of Caldwell Jones, died Wednesday. Born in Chester County, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Mary McGarity Aiken. She attended Draughan's Business College, Columbia Music College and the University of South Carolina. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1960 and was formerly associated with Charles B. Elliott, Attorney. She later served as a trust officer with South Carolina National Bank and most recently served the firm of Mays, Foster, Booth and Gunter. She was a charter member of the Anglican Church of the Epiphany. Surviving are brothers, Arthur Aiken of Rock Hill, James Aiken of Chester and Joseph Aiken of Lancaster, and a sister Ms. Isla A. Boyd of Chester. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Church of the Epiphany with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
