TOWANDA (PNS) -- Byron Gregory Moon, 84, a former Money Creek Township resident, died at 3:10 p.m. Saturday at a Masonic Home at Utica, N.Y.
The funeral and burial took place at Utica.
He was born in 1880, a son of James and Margaret Moon. He moved with his parents to Normal where he attended public school and Illinois Wesleyan University. He later attended the University of Chicago.
He married Bessie Robinson in Troy, N.Y. and organized an advertising agency there. He was forced to retire because of ill health and he and his wife moved into the Masonic Home.
Surviving are his wife and one brother, Simon, Towanda.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
He was a member of the Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge.
