DELMAR AUGUST GAFFKE, 84, died August 27, 2004 at Cambridge Nursing Home-North. Born August 23, 1920 in Port Hope, MI

A member of the American Legion and the fraternel order of the Masons. A Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Loved playing Cards. He organized many card tournaments around town. He loved Baseball and Umpired Little League Baseball games. He enjoyed bowling, winning many trophies and awards. His passion was the outdoors. He enjoyed camping and hunting.

He married his late wife Lorna P. on March 6, 1944. She died February 2, 1999. His daughter Penny McConnell in 2003 and 5 brothers and sisters predecease him.

His children survive him:
Patricia (George Lapierre) Galbreath, Barbara (Jeff) Deuparo, Douglas (Peggy) Gaffke
