Myrtle May VanDyke Lowery, 87, of Pearisburg, Va., died Tuesday in a Pearisburg hospital.
She was born in Tazewell County and was preceded in death by her husband Milton Baxter Lowery.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at Pearisburg, Va.
Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Marce Shelton of Pearisburg, Va.; sons, Henry Lowery of Avondale, Sam M. Lowery of Richlands, Va., and Howard Lowery of Rutherford, N.J.; sister, Mrs. Ruth Brown of Richlands, Va.; thirty seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pearisburg, Ward, at Pearisburg, Va., with Bishop Darrell Mann presiding. Burial will be at Elswick Cemetery at Raven, Va.
Friends may call at Riffe's Funeral Services in Narrows, Va., today from 6-9 p.m.
