Rena Evelyn Archer passed away Sunday, August 26th, 2012 in Tulsa at the age of 86. Rena was born July 25th, 1926 in Gans Oklahoma to Elmer and Mable (Israel) Cooper. She attended Gans Public School and later married William (Leroy) Archer February 15, 1944 in Oklahoma City. They made their home in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Rena was a homemaker and loved Crossword puzzles and talking to her parrot, she also loved scrapping and stripping scrap copper wire. Rena is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters; Linda Brown, and Charlene Roberts, Brother; J.B. Cooper and sister Reba Livesay, and a grandson; Jerry Moseley. She is survived by her children; Peggy and husband Mike Coyle of Wewoka, and Neva Weller of Newalla, Oklahoma, eleven Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday August 31, 2012 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Schoolton Cemetery in Cromwell.
