Hardy O'Quinn is buried in the Rentz cemetery according to his death certificate. Apparently there is no longer a marker, which may have been wooden. He was married to Susannah Rentz, and she is buried here also, according to his obituary/tribute.

The cemetery is overgrown and several years ago was mostly destroyed in a hurricane. It can be visited but is on private property.

They had daughters: Ann Savilla O'Quinn, date of death unknown, Mary O'Quinn who died in 1880, Rebecca O'Quinn, who disappeared as a child from one census to the next, Florence O'Quinn, who died in 1916. I believe they are all buried in the Rentz cemetery.

No parents have ever been determined for Hardy O'Quinn despite the efforts of many dedicated genealogists. DNA reveals that Hardy descended from Alexander O’Quinn and Martha Hardy of North Carolina.

Many thanks to Faye Rentz, who made available the survey of the Rentz-Campbell cemetery. Without her contribution we wouldnt know where Hardy is buried.
