David Lee McClure, 68, of Winfield, WV, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with mesothelioma.

He is survived by
his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Nancy Ann Edens McClure;
one son, David J. McClure and wife, Annett of Elkview;
one daughter, Lee Ann McClure Barnett and husband, Greg of Winfield;
four grandchildren, Luke and Grace McClure of Elkview, WV, Katie Barnett of Winfield, WV and Kerri Barnett Templeton and husband, Eric of Scott Depot, WV.

He was preceded in death by
his father, Jackson Lee McClure;
mother, Nana Hartwell McClure;
sister, Candace Ann.

He was employed by Union Carbide, Bayer, Rhone Poulenc, and CDI as a draftsman. Following his retirement, David pursued his lifelong dream of farming and having own many Tennessee Walking horses. He was also a member of the Winfield Riding Club, the Putnam County Farm Bureau and the Tennesse Walking Horse Association.

A private family service and burial in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
