Mrs. Clarence Kaus, 63, Algoma, died Sunday afternoon at St. Vincent hospital, Green Bay. The former Fern Sacotte was born Jan. 14, 1916 in the Town of Gardner and attended school there and also St. Mary's school, Algoma. Her marriage to Clarence Kaus was performed at Manitowoc Dec. 12, 1935, and the couple made their home in Algoma. The death of Mr. Kaus occurred Oct. 7, 1967. Survivors include six daughters, Teddy (Umberham) Czoske, Algoma; Mrs. James (Jean) Freson, Johnson Creek; Mrs. John (Judith) Stach, Algoma; Mrs. Thomas (Sharon) Rosinsky, Kewaunee; Mrs. Linda Haumschild, Algoma, and Mrs. Larry (Carolyn) Anderson, Green Bay; four sons, Robert, Kewaunee; Larry, Johnson Creek; Douglas, Green Bay, and Randy, Algoma; her mother, Mrs. Eva Sacotte, Sturgeon Bay; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also remaining are four sisters, Mrs. Roland (Christine) Graf, Mrs. Arthur (Johanna) Schley and Mrs. John (Anna) Blaha, all of Algoma, and Mrs. Dennis (June) Bay, Sturgeon Bay, and a brother John Sacotte, Lawton, OK. A son, a grandchild and a brother were among those who preceded her in death. The Rev. L.A. Dobberstein officiated at services Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran church and burial was at the Evergreens. The Haucke-Schinderle funeral home was in charge.
