Mrs. MARY FARTHING
Mrs. MARY FARTHING of Dallas, Texas, for many years a resident of Gainesville and Cooke County, died March 31 at Riverside, California, following a long illness. She is a daughter of Dr. G. S. FIELD of Gainesville, brothers and sister, M. M. FIELD of Gainesville, HARRY FIELD of Mena, Arkansas, and Miss JOSEPHINE FIELD of Durant, Oklahoma; sons, EUGENE FARTHING of the Army Air Service, ROBERT FARTHING who is a traveling salesman who lives in Dallas, and WELBORN FARTHING who is a teacher at Texas A.&M. College. The funeral will be in Gainesville.

The body of Mrs. Mary Farthing, who died in Riverside, California, will arrive here Sunday night over the Santa Fe RR and will be taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. FIELD on South Denton where the funeral will be held Monday afternoon. She was living in Dallas when she went to California for her health. Pallbearers: WELBORNE FARTHING, ROBERT FARTHING, EUGENE FARTHING, ROBERT FIELD, HARRY FIELD, ISHOM BEASLEY, HORACE GUNTER and SAM GUNTER.
