Courtney Alisha Phagan, age 18 of Maysville, GA passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00PM at the funeral home.

Courtney's life of 18 years was way too short too many, but those who know her have been touched by her life and understand the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her beautiful smile and quality of life brought so much joy to her family and friends. Although Courtney was only with us for a short time here on earth before Jesus took her hand and lead her to Heaven, she leaves us all with such courage and hope and reminds us of the preciousness of life and hope hereafter for all Christians that accept Jesus into their lives.

Courtney loved spending time with both family and friends; enjoyed listening to music and going to school. Courtney's favorite color was blue. One of Courtney's favorite quotes was "If ur not first ur last". Courtney's Daddy always told her that "No guy is good enough for his little girl". Courtney's outlook on life was to "Live like there's no tmrw".

Ms. Phagan was born June 28, 1994 in Clarke County, GA to Keith Patrick Phagan and Bonnie Mae Leach Phagan.

Courtney was a senior at Banks County High School and was accepted to Piedmont College where she would begin studying law. Courtney was a member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church. Courtney is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Willis "Dub" Leach and Ray Phagan.
