Funeral services for Mrs. Rabie Stapp Malone, 80, widow of the late M. L. Malone of Kedron, were conducted at Kedron Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon, May 18, at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. J. C. Elkins and the Rev. John M. Bradford officiated and burial was in Kedron Cemetery. Carter Funeral Home of Prospect was in charge.
Mrs. Malone died at 8:30 a. m. Tuesday at her home following a long period of declining health.
A native of Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Sarah Florence Campbell Stapp. With her son, David Malone, she had been actively engaged in the mercantile business at Kedron for many years.
Survivors, besides her son, are a granddaughter, Louella Malone; a brother, W. Andrew Stapp of Kedron; and a sister, Mrs. R. E. Curry, Sr. of Pulaski.
