ELBERTON STAR OBITUARY - MAY 1, 1909

Mrs. Ida Teasley wife of John Teasley, died at her home near Bethesda, in Hart county, Sunday morning and was buried in Concord Cemetery in Elbert County. Mrs. Teasley was born and raised in this county and was a consecrated Christian woman, being a member of the Methodist Church. She was loved, honored and respected through out this part of the State. She had been twice married, her first husband being Harper Eavenson, of near Concord. By her first husband there are two children living, Julian Eavenson, now living near Concord, and Miss Maude Eavenson. She is survived by her husband and a three day old baby and the following brothers and sisters George Turner, John Turner, and Mrs. Mattie Loehr of Elberton, Mrs Cora Cleveland of near Elberton, Mrs. W. M. Carithers of Goss and Mr. R. A. Turner of Royston.
