Wife of Hon. Judge Samuel Maxwell Sr. They married in Michigan on Aug. 20th, 1851. This a previous for him being a farmer and practiced as a lawyer, coming to the Nebraska Territory just before 1860. Believed one of the first fifty families to settle just south of the township that became the Plattsmouth precinct by Horning road and the cemetery they lie at rest. She was a member of the early Presbyterian church of Plattsmouth. Unknown if they had any children born to them. Being only 30 years of age, illness or childbirth may have taken life from her. Burial is within the Maxwell family lot among family members that came after her.
