He appears on the Petition of Estate of John Michael Speegle as Andrew Jackson Alvis. He appears on the 1880 census of Cullman County, Alabama as Henry J.
He was married four times, first Flora Alda Thomas on July 20, 1890, second to Susannah E. Rodgers on December 13, 1903, third to Delphia L. Jacobs on January 19, 1921 and finally to Alice Cole. Henry and all his wives are buried here at Crossroads.
