Cropsey – Mrs. Lois Knight Collins (Collings), 63, died at her home here at 5:15 a.m. Monday (August 26, 1935) after more than a year’s illness. The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Colfax Christian Church, Rev L.C. Million officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Lois Knight, youngest daughter of Mose and Elizabeth Benson Knight, was born August 21, 1872, near Colfax. She was married to Harvey Collins (Collings) of Colfax November 16, 1894.
She was the mother of 10 children, four of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband and six children: Bay of Oregon, Lottie of Chicago, Elmer of Ottawa, Howard, Louise and Emily at home; two brothers, Orin Knight of Colfax, William Knight of California; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Harris of California.
Mrs. Collins (Collings) was a member of the Colfax Christian Church.
