Billy Edward Duff age 80 of Rocky died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at his home. He was born Wednesday, June 22, 1932 to Harry Edward and Leona Marrs Duff in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was a hard worker who loved to work on his ranch. He loved working his cattle and sheep, gardening and raising herbs. He was a collector of coins and stamps and enjoyed researching his family's genealogy. Prior to his ranching, he was very proud of the fact that he was able to work for a company that contracted for NASA, in which he was responsible for several patents for NASA. He was an Army Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Cattleman's Association and the Literacy Council. He was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Faith Christian Church of Mena.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Sylvia Duff, and one brother, James Duff.

Survivors include his wife, Lydia Razo Duff of the home; one son, William Duff; four daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Greg Davis of Mena, Sherrie and Steve Versher of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Terri Phillips of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Melinda and John Liles of Van Buren; two brothers, Charles Duff of Florida, Jack Duff of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Dorothy Reece of Magnum, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowser Family Chapel in Mena. Interment will follow at the Rocky Cemetery in Rocky, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday, August 27, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena.

Pallbearers are Will Strickland, Jamie Williams, Indio Razo Hendershot, Brien Versher, Brett Versher and Gary Lance.
