He was a member and deacon of the Mogadore Christian Church, a charter member of the Mogadore Charter Commission, member of the Senior Citizens of Mogadore, Tadmore Shrine, member and past master of Joppa Lodge No. 666, Scottish Rite Valley of Akron, York Consistory, Falls Comman- dry and past patron of Elva Chapter No. 304.
