A native of Lake City, Tenn., he lived in Henderson County since 1956. He was a son of the late Claude and Martha Corn. He worked with Shorewood Packaging for 26 years, and was a member of East Hendersonville Baptist Church. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Elks Lodge 1616 BPOE and Moose Lodge 711.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Nancy Corn; a son, Jonathan Corn of Whiteville, Tenn.; a brother, Ronnie W. Corn of Upward; three sisters, Patricia Corn Garren of Hoopers Creek, Sandra Corn Houk and her husband, Robert, of Hendersonville, Sarah Joan Heatherly and her husband, Mike, of Fletcher; three granddaughters, Payton, Preslee, Alexys; a number of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at East Hendersonville Baptist Church. The Revs. Carroll Poole and David Reese will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
