Lela Mae Myers, 93 year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died March 13, 2007, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born in 1913 in Washington County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Arch R. McDonald and Hallie Denman McDonald. Lela was a graduate of Siloam Springs High School, and John Brown University. She was a schoolteacher at Mason School, Siloam Springs, Arkansas and was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest "Jack" Myers in 1986 and one brother, John McDonald. Survivors include two sons: Larry Bruce Myers and wife Sharon of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Richard Lee Myers of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Frank Myers and wife Lori, and Lori Weir and husband Jeremy, all of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and two great grandchildren.
