Mrs. Leta Young Coffey, 92, died Apr 30, 1986, Murfreesboro. She was born May 11, 1893 in Burkesville, KY, the daughter of John Samuel & Bertie David Williams Young. She was the widow of Wilkes Coffey, a Murfreesboro attorney who died in 1934. She was the last surviving charter member of the 1st Baptist Church of Smyrna. She is survived by 3 daughters; Mrs. John Ross Lennan, Tenafly, NJ; Selene Coffey; Anne Coffey, both of Nashville; a son, Wilkes Coffey, Jr., Murfreesboro; 3 sisters, Mrs. Carney L. Hooten, Nashville; Myrtie C. Young, Murfreesboro; Mrs. Albert Wright, Dickson; 3 brothers, W. Gobel Young; Keith Young; Guy M. Young, all of Murfreesboro. Mapleview Cemetery.
