Final rites for Mrs. Maggie Ethel York, 69, were held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church at Phillips. The Rev. Hoyt Welch, pastor, officiated. Interment in Pampa Memory Gardens were under the direction of Ed Brown, funeral director.
Mrs. York died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday at North Plains Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She resided at 306 Third, Phillips, an area resident since 1945.
Surviving are two sons, James A. of Fort Worth, H.C. York of Fritch; three daughters, Mrs. J.T. Carter of Phillips, Mrs. K.S. Hefner, and Mrs. B.E. Hunter, Clovis, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Cy Adams, Madill, Okla.; and 16 grandchildren.
