Bonnie Acree Chambers, 84, of Toccoa, died Thursday, April 13, at Toccoa Nursing Center.
The daughter of the late W.H.T. and Rebecca Simpson Acree, she was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Stephens County where she had lived all her life.
She was a member of Toccoa First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Chambers, in 2001.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Joel and Ann Wheeler of Toccoa and Forrest and Kay Wheeler of Hayesville, N.C.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. today (Friday, April 14) in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Sosby officiating.
