Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Sittig Noel, 85, were held at 2 p.m. today in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Noel, a native of Mallet and a resident of Opelousas, died Monday, January 18, 1999, in Opelousas General Hospital.
Survivors include: two sons, Lawrence Noel and Lloyd Noel, both of Opelousas; two daughters, Eva Richard and husband J.V., and Mabel Noel Clarke, both of Opelousas; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Noel was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Noel.
Visiting hours were observed from 2 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. today until time of services. A rosary was recited at 6 p.m.
