Frank Grummons of Fort Ridgely, the second patient from the County Home to be treated at the Covell Hospital passed away 12/29/1928 after a three weeks' confinement here, with cancer of the bladder. He spent many years in the vicinity of Fort Ridgely and was also a well known and popular character in that community. Funeral services were conducted from Klein's undertaking parlors Monday afternoon after which interment was made at Fort Ridgely.
