Mrs. Zona Malatha Jones Price, 81, of Rt. 3, Swainsboro, died yesterday at St Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Haley of Dublin and Mrs. Louella Hagan of Garden City; six sons Wiley Price of Rossville, Frank Price of Jacksonville, Fla., Vestus Price of Dublin, Eugene Price of Twin City, Cecil Price of Rincon, Earl A. Price of Guyton; two sisters, Mrs Emmie Thomas of Savannah and Mrs. Lottie Price of Tennille; Two brothers, Walter Jones of Tennille and Thomas Jones of Hazlehurst; 33 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Three sons, Leroy Price, Charlie Price, and Alton Price preceded her in death.
Fox and Weeks Funeral Home was in charge in Savannah. Funeral services will be held at Bethynia Primitive Baptist Church, Swainsboro, GA. Shadow Lawn Mortuary of Swainboro, is in charge.
