Sanford Parker was born in Iowa in 1879. He was the son of Robert Parker and Amelia Keziah Plummer. Siblings of Sanford are: John (1872-1933), Carrie (1876-1966) Guthrie, Anna (1878-1950) Johnson, Fletcher (1884-1938) and Clarence (1890-1958). Sanford's parents farmed near Kirkville. The family moved to Chicago in 1896. Sanford married Florence Labourslier on June 19, 1907. Sanford and Florence had 7 children: David (1908-1991), Raymond (1909-1980), Florence (1911-1991) Reuter, Bernice (1912-1999) Sneathen, Harry (1914-1963), Marvin (1916-1994) and Lenore (1921-2019) Smail. Sanford worked as a high rise painter and decorator. He died in Chicago in 1927.
