Emeritus Missionary Dies
Mrs. Allie Roberts LeSueur, 91, Southern Baptist emeritus missionary, died October 14, after a long illness. She died in San Benito, Tex., where she made her home.
Mrs. LeSueur and her late husband, Rev. David H. LeSueur, were missionaries to Mexico for 32 years before their retirement in 1935. He died in 1957.
A native of San Saba, Tex., Mrs. LeSueur graduated from Howard Payne College, Brownwood. She taught school before she and her husband were appointed missionaries in 1903.
She also taught in Mexico. She supervised dormitories in schools in Torreon and Chihuahua for 23 years.
Funeral services were in First Baptist Church, San Benito, on October 16. Burial was in Mont Meta Memorial Park, San Benito.
Mrs. LeSueur is survived by five daughters.
