Billy D. West, 57, Monterey, died at 9:09 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 10, 2008) at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, Ind.
Services will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home in Michigan City with the Rev. Michael Erway officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home.
Billy was born May 5, 1951, in Lakeview, Mich., to the late James F. and Lucille B. (Cross) West.
On Aug. 14, 1976, in Michigan City, he married Karen M. Glossinger who passed away on Nov. 26, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters: Tammy Marie West, Elizabeth Lucille West and Margaret Anne West all of Monterey, Ind.; three sisters: Lois Jobes, La Porte, Elaine Townsend, Nettertlin, Texas and Carol West, South Bend.
Proceeding him in death are two brothers: James H. "Jake" West and Harold West.
Billy was a retired tool and dye maker. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Knox, Ind.
