Irma L. Jones, 62, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in a local hospital.
She was Baptist by faith and loved to grow and raise flowers. She loved the beauty of creation and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Ledwell and Jessie Ledwell Ricker; and sister, Elaine Hamby.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace Jones of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Jacky Jones and Debra of Collegedale; daugthers and sons-in-law: Sonya and Mike Allen of Harrison, Angela and Dean Robinson and Annette Myers and Tommy, all of Cleveland; brothers: Bill Ledwell and Cagar Horace C. Ledwell, both of Benton and Johnny Ledwell of Nashville; sisters: Patty Taylor, Janie Ball, Glenda Taylor and Cynthia Bales, all of Cleveland; grandchildren: Tommy Jones, Joseph Jones, Sarah Robinson, Hayden Robinson, Jennifer Scott, Brandon Allen, Maranda Myers, Lyndsey Myers and Chelsea Myers; great-grandchild, Chailee M. Jones.
The funeral will be Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hank Davis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Mike Allen, Dean Robinson, Tommy Myers, Tommy Jones, Jeff Green and Darel Jones serving as pall bearers.
A flock of doves will be released in memory of Irma.
