Mrs. Verlee Storie Teague, 90, of the Fosco community, died Monday morning, April 26, at Glenbridge Nursing Care Center.

She was born April 25, 1914, in Watauga County, a daughter of the late Roby and Eliza Hampton Storie. Mrs. Teague was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, one sister, one sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mont W. Teague; one great-granddaughter, Mahlah Teague; her father and mother, Roby and Eliza Hampton Storie; two brothers, Romie Storie and Stanford Storie and a sister, Julie Reid.

Services will be conducted Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state from 6:30-8 p.m. Officiating will be Reverend Zane Tester. Private graveside services and burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning at Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.
