Mrs. Margaret Grandadam was
born in St. Blaise, France, June 18,
1835, and died at her home south of
Somonauk February 12, 1924.
She came to this country with her
husband in 1879, locating in Serena
township, where they resided until
their removal to Somonauk several
years ago. The husband preceded her
in death sixteen years ago.
She is survived by six children,
Mrs. Mary Vegley, Sandwich; Joseph
Grandadam, Serena; Amos Grandad-
am, Mrs. Louise witt, Jule Grandad-
am and Mrs. Jennie Diehl of Somo-
nauk. She also leaves thirteen
grandchildren and three greatgrand-
children.
Funeral services were held in St.
John's Catholic church Thursday
morning at nine o'clock conducted by
Rev. Fr. Welter. Interment took place
at the Catholic cemetery.
