Betty Bricker McGuire, of Decatur, Georgia, passed away at Emmery Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia of congestive heart failure.
She was born in Polkton, North Carolina on April 13, 1928 to David Scott and Eleanor Kelly Bricker. She graduated from Polkton High School and Phifer College. She was employed by Mecklenburg County Health Department where she met he r husband of 52 years, Boyd McGuire, who survives her.
She is survived by three sisters, one son, two daughters, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph W. Bricker on November 5, 1978.
