Laura Henrietta Coval Reese,was the youngest daughter of the pioneer family from Rescue.She was married to Daniel H Reese in Placerville,California July 3.1914 she was a member of the Daughters of the Golden West,Eastern Star Lodge and the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Placerville. Laura H.Reese-Obituary-Mountain Democrat newspaper April 7 1994.Funeral sevices for Laura H.Reese,97 of Placerville,will be at 11 a.m Monday April 11 at Memory Chapel.Pastor Bud Brackett of the Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate.Interment will be at Placerville Union Cemetery.Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m,Sunday April 10 at Memory Chapel. Mrs.Reese died April 3, in a Sacramento hospital.She was born in (Grays Flat)Rescue and lived 97 years in California-past 63 years in El Dorado County.She was a member of the Placerville Seventh Day Adventist Church.She is survived by two nieces Maybelle Szpunar of Elk Grove and Bethel Haye of Sacramento.
